To operate the service, we compile information about commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings and the businesses and people responsible for them. This is business-to-business data about professional roles, collected from:

• Public records — county parcel, assessor, and deed records; building permits; state business registries and corporate filings; and other government sources.
• Licensed data providers — commercial property, ownership, and business contact data providers.
• Aerial and satellite imagery — imagery of building exteriors and roofs (never interiors) used to assess roof condition.
• Publicly available sources — business websites, professional profiles, and news.

This data may include a property's ownership entity, permit and roof characteristics, and the name, title, business email, and business phone number of the person responsible for the building (for example, an owner, property manager, or facilities director). We use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to link this information to specific buildings and to estimate roof condition; these outputs are estimates and may contain errors.

4. How We Use Information

• Identify commercial buildings whose roofs may need work and the decision-makers responsible for them.
• Send business outreach to those decision-makers on behalf of our roofing contractor customers, and deliver interested replies to the relevant customer.
• Provide, maintain, bill for, and improve the service, including improving our matching and scoring systems.
• Communicate with customers and prospects, respond to inquiries, and send service or marketing communications (which you can opt out of).
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

• With our customers: when a decision-maker responds with interest to outreach sent on a customer's behalf, we share that contact's business information with that customer so they can follow up.
• Service providers: vendors that host our infrastructure, deliver email and mail, process payments, and supply property and contact data, bound to use the information only to provide services to us.
• Legal: where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or third-party marketers.
